In 2009 Go Genre Everything is releasing the album "Eternal Youth Carefree Cleanness" and to coincide with this, are making a happening, to explore what it means to sell "Eternal Youth" and "Carefree Cleanness" in both futurisic and historical contexts.

More performance ideas

Alright this is the rest of the proposed performance ideas. Planned to happen while GGE are playing, which is at the end of the evening's events.

Mr Advertising and the pursuit of fame
First GGE performance. During "Fake is Fake" (4 minutes) approx. 5 people.
Mr Advertising has a 1/2 1/2 suit and mask. Front half clean grinning and sychophantic. Back half filthy and mean. (Dorian Gray). Camera people photograph him and he won't let them see his back half. People give him their hearts and he builds a small tower of them and stands on it. Turns his back to us and falls over and dies.

Unconscious biology and the futile struggle against entropy
Second GGE show performance. During "Slug Singer" (2 1/2 minutes) approx. 3 people.
Person puts on various body parts, fins, ears, tail and as they put on something new, something else falls off. Also larger eyes etc different versions of their own physiology. Main person in a onesy with shorts, velcro attachments aesthetically placed. Two people in blacks, one handing them things and one taking them away. The person ages, becoming physically bent over until they fall over and die.

Fashion and Nepotism
Third GGE performance. During "No points for Originality" (3 minutes) approx 5 people.
Pointy nose and claws people who look the same. One pointy hand, one not. Different people beckoned and invited closer and then stabbed with claws. They die melodramatically ("dance") and then roll away. Some are allowed to join if they are adjusted. Then the pointy folk break each others noses and stab each other to death. All die.

Extra procession folk
As many extra procession people as we can muster will join the procession at the beginning of the GGE performance with simple costumes - boots and veils - and then place their costumes in the space as props.

Other performance
If anyone has an idea for a performance they wanna do as part of the show, there's space for this too.
